Dr. Eskind was born in Boston, Mass. He received his B.A. at Harvard College and his M.D. from Tulane School of Medicine and completed both his internship and his residency here at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee in 1980 and then completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Lahey Clinic Foundation in his hometown of Boston. He continues to focus his practice in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has been appointed Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
